Tic Tac Toe (also referred to as noughts and crosses or Xs and Os) is a paper-and-pencil activity for two participants, X and O, who alternate marking the squares in a 3×3 grid. The individual who manages to place three of their symbols in a straight line—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—claims victory.
Dots n Lines is a pencil-and-paper game designed for two players. The game commences with a blank grid of dots. Typically, two players take turns drawing a single horizontal or vertical line between two adjacent dots that are not yet connected. A player who completes the fourth side of a 1×1 square earns a point and takes an additional turn. The game concludes when no further lines can be drawn. The victor is the player with the highest score.
